This is a bit off topic since it's not Saitek gear, but I figured I would mention it since I think it really makes a huge difference to the game experience. My experience with Head Tracking, Joystick & Rudder Pedals: Priority 2: A decent joystick with a throttle with a fair amount of programmable buttons / dials / axis. Priority 1: A head tracking device of somekind either homemade system, face tracking or if you got the cash a TrackIr 5 for the full monty. It's absolutely not a must to invest in a lot accesories, though I higly reccommend the following for any level of difficulty: But some of us like a little "bells and whistles" and the feel of a knob / dial / switch whatever and are willing to spend that extra buck for the privalege. I know that most players have the opinion that most of all this gear is total overkill for succesfully palying simulator difficulty (Full Real Mode) and a complete waste of money. You DON'T need to spend half your kids collage fund on space consuming widgets and gadgets to play this game! Saitek has a bit of a bad reputation when it comes to writing drivers to their products and some really wierd installation issues, so this might be worth reading before you return that X52 Pro cause your computer is crashing/bluescreening or the LEDS don't work on the Throttle (As I did.). (Everything that follows is based on PC, I have no experience with MAC, Playstation, X-Box etc.) I will be keeping this updated as I expand my collection and share my experiences as I go along.
and (Hopefully.) how to get them to work with War Thunder. I am creating this blog to share my experiences with Saiteks product array of game controllers, panels, instruments etc. Saitek Game Accessories, Panels & Instruments - What works and how to install and configure them
